The Adult Domestic Abuse Recovery Toolkit is a 12-week programme that helps participants understand the impact of having experienced domestic abuse, explains how they were prevented from leaving an abusive relationship and the thinking patterns developed as a method of managing the risk, which can hold people back in moving forward.
Individual’s own strengths, resources, coping skills and resilience are reinforced contributing to their health and wellness on a long-term basis.
Where possible we want to reduce conflict between parents / carers and promote effective communication in the best interests of the children.
We provide a 4-week programme supporting parents who have separated where they can access tools which will help them co-parent and enhance their relationship.
We work in partnership with the SPLITZ service to deliver a Health Relationships Healthy Families Programme to support parents to understand the impact of domestic abuse and conflict on their children.
