Parenting Courses

 Aspire Foundation run parenting courses and workshops both virtually and face to face.


Solihull Parenting

The Solihull Parenting Programme is designed for parents and carers of children aged 0–18 years. This programme helps you build positive, responsive relationships with your child and gain a deeper understanding of their behaviour. It focuses on strengthening the parent–child bond and supporting healthy emotional development.

The course runs termly across our children’s centres and takes place over 9 weeks. Each session explores practical strategies and key topics, including:

  • Tuning into your child
  • Exploring feelings
  • Parenting styles
  • Effective communication
  • Managing temper tantrums
  • Understanding sleep patterns
  • Addressing behavioural difficulties

This programme offers a supportive space to share experiences, learn new approaches, and feel more confident in your parenting journey.

Aspire workshops

Aspire offer a range of family-friendly workshops throughout the year, with sessions scheduled regularly each quarter. These workshops are designed to give parents and carers practical tools, insights, and strategies to support family life and strengthen relationships. Whether you are looking for guidance on communication, behaviour, or everyday challenges, our sessions provide a welcoming space to learn and share experiences.

Upcoming workshops

Managing Emotions Workshop  Children can often express their emotions in many different ways. We welcome you to join us for this interactive workshop to increase your understanding of the importance of managing emotions.  Gain advice, helpful tips and strategies to support in regulating your child’s emotions.  Aimed at parents with children under 11.
