Our Services
Inspiring children, supporting families.
Aspire Foundation delivers a range of family support services. This includes a Targeted Family Support Service as part of the county Early Help offer. Early Help aims to identify issues children and families face early on and intervene with packages of support to prevent needs getting worse.
Family Support Workers
Our Family Support Workers (FSWs) provide emotional and practical help and advice for families who are experiencing difficulties in a wide range of family matters.
FSW’s can work directly with children and families, ensuring goals and actions are decided together. They can offer parenting support and advice, direct work with children and signposting and referrals to appropriate services who may also be able to support the family. FSW’s can help with co-ordinating agencies around a family, making sure all family members needs are considered and supported.
The FSW’s run regular ‘drop in’ sessions where parents and carers can come and speak to a FSW directly for advice and signposting.

Community Family Workers
Community Family Workers (CFW’s) work alongside families to ensure children get the best start in life from an early age. CFW’s can support parents and carers to attend groups and activities with their children and encourage social and emotional development. They can visit parents and carers at home to provide 1:1 support and are on hand in many of our groups to provide advice and support for a wide range of topics including toilet training, sleep and routines, weaning, behaviour and much more.
See Groups for more information on the groups available.
How to refer
Parents, carers and professionals working with families can make a request for help through a central referral route known as the front door. More information can be found here:
