Groups
Groups can promote children's early development and offer families opportunities to connect with other families, services, organisations and the local community.
Various groups are available across Tewkesbury and Cheltenham Children and Family Centres and include, Stay and Play sessions, Targeted Family Time, Young Parents, Baby Hubs, Stay & Weigh, Dad Matters and Mothers in Mind.
Baby Hubs
The Health Visiting Service provide drop-in Baby Hubs at our Children and Family Centres where you can have your baby weighed and get advice on your baby's health and development. For more information...
Family Time
We run Family Time sessions at each of our Children and Family Centres, providing opportunities for children and their families to socialise, learn and play with others. A wide range of activities to promote development and interaction is on offer each week including arts and crafts, messy play and outdoor fun in our play areas. A Community Family worker is available for support or advice on a range of topics e.g. toilet training, sleep and routines, weaning, behaviour and much more.
Young Carers
We are commissioned by Gloucestershire Young Carers (YCG) to run the Cheltenham Junior Young Carers Group who meet weekly at our Oakwood Centre to offer children opportunities to socialise, make friends, gain peer support and take part in some structured activities.

Aspire Foundation- Spring/Summer Term provision
Sessions will run across Cheltenham and Tewkesbury (including Brockworth). There are Stay and Play sessions available to all children 0-5 and their parents/carers.
Our Targeted sessions and support can be requested by completing our referral form.
Young Parents
Supporting young parents and families.
Young Parents’ Stay and Play group invites all parents and expectant parents aged 21 and under to join us for an opportunity to meet other parents and their children, to socialise, interact, play, learn and gain peer or professional support.
The  group offers free soft play and the use of our sensory room along with weekly craft activities and baby play areas. We cater for all children aged five and under and also provide a snack and a drink.
The group will be welcomed by  an experienced Family Support Worker who can  offer advice and guidance or sign post to other services that may be able help to support young families.
Sessions run at Gardners Lane Children and Family Centre on Thursdays between 10:00 and 12:00
Supporting Young Parents
We may be able to support families with transport to the centre from outside of the Cheltenham area.
