Drop‑In Sessions: Locations & Times

Our Coffee, Chat & Connect Parent Drop-In Sessions offer a relaxed and friendly space where parents and carers can come together, enjoy a cuppa, and feel more connected to their local community. Held monthly across our Children and Family Centres in Cheltenham and Tewkesbury, these sessions are an easy way to meet other parents, take a breather, and find out what’s available locally. There’s no need to book or make a referral, you can simply drop in at any point during the session.

Whether you’re adjusting to a new routine now your child is at nursery, new to the area, or just looking for a welcoming place to pause, Coffee, Chat & Connect gives you the chance to meet friendly staff, ask questions, and explore the support and activities offered through Aspire Foundation’s Family Support Service.

What Are Coffee, Chat & Connect Parent Drop-In Sessions?

Coffee, Chat & Connect sessions are relaxed, open‑access gatherings designed to make connection and support feel easy and approachable. Parents and carers can drop in whenever suits them, enjoy a warm drink, and chat with staff or other families in a calm, informal environment. Some people come for advice, some for reassurance, and others simply for company — all reasons are welcome.

Families often use these sessions to talk about everyday routines, emotions, or child development, or to find out more about groups, courses and activities happening locally. Staff are on hand throughout to listen, offer guidance, and help you explore what’s available in your community.

There is no pressure or expectation, just a warm welcome and space to breathe.

Why Families Enjoy Coffee, Chat & Connect

Families tell us that these sessions are one of the easiest ways to feel supported and connected. They offer immediate access to friendly staff without needing an appointment, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it simple to ask questions or share what’s on your mind. Many parents appreciate the chance to meet others who are experiencing similar milestones, challenges or changes, and often leave feeling reassured, encouraged and more confident.

Coffee, Chat & Connect can also be a gentle first step before accessing one‑to‑one support, parenting courses or other services, if you choose to explore them.

I was reminded that I’m a good mum and that I’m doing a good job, and sometimes you really need to hear that.
